Stonecreek Staff

Saw this great quote on Tony Morgan's blog today. Quoting Jim Collins from CNN Money,

First figure out your partners, then figure out what ideas to pursue. The most important thing isn't the market you target, the product you develop or the financing, but the founding team. Starting a company is like scaling an unclimbed face - you don't know what the mountain will throw at you, so you must pick the right partners, who share your values, on whom you can depend, and who can adapt."

This reminds me of our staff. We do have a common value - to see people walk with God. God has done an amazing job of assembling our staff over the last year. Our staff is incredible - character, work ethic, strength, passion, you name it. As I said at one of our leader gatherings last week, our staff's primary desire is to see people walk with God. From our ministry assistants, to our directors, God has gifted us with an exceptional staff who care about others. They are passionate about the people we reach, work longer than they should, hold the bar very high for themselves and their areas, and love talking about how God is using Stonecreek to change lives.

So, this week, send someone on staff a thank you card, an email, or give them an encouraging phone call. You'll never know how it fuels them!
