Check out this excerpt from some website feedback I got this week. I hope you can get the picture of the difference you are making in people's lives!
After today's sermon, I felt compelled to send a note to the church.
A few months ago, I was as low as I could possibly be. I have always
been a rather pessimistic person. I'm also a complete Type A
Perfectionist. I have always controlled everything in my life. In the
past several years, things have happened that were out of my control.
I began to spiral downward. Several months ago I began having heart
palpitations, insomnia, deep depression, and panic attacks. I went to
a cardiologist convinced I had a heart problem only to have
everything turn out just fine. I finally found out my adrenal glands
weren't functioning properly which was causing all my symptoms, which
was due to STRESS! ?I started attending Stonecreek on a regular
basis. A door opened up as well that allowed me to be part of an
amazing small group. I began reading the Bible. Whenever I would feel
anxious I would quote the verse Steven quoted today, "God does not
create fear..." ? I've turned everything over to the Lord. I've
realized that I'm not the one who is in charge, God is. I no longer
am pessimistic but truly grateful for everything in life! I no longer
stress out about what's going to happen 5 years down the road, I live
for today. I just wanted to say thank you to Stonecreek. The messages
and music have been such a blessing to me and I just wanted you to
know how thankful I am ? Thank you again, each week I learn something
new and I leave church always feeling so excited and so proud to be a
member! I have been telling my friends all about Stonecreek and hope
that one day they will visit and enjoy it as much as I do.
