Well, Daisy (Debby’s Grandmother) passed away on Tuesday. Our family went back to “not” Suburbia for the funeral. She was 90, and was very active until her death. She was an incredible woman, and she will be missed. My apologies for not blogging this week, but I'll get back on track.
Today marked something different for Stonecreek. During the time of commitment at the end of our services, we asked people to raise their hands in response to a spiritual decision – and many did so! I know it took courage for you, but I believe God will honor that in your life.
If you committed to be baptized on Mother’s Day, please let us know so we can get you into the info loop. For those of you who committed to follow Christ, we know that heaven has big fun when this happens. We’d enjoy an opportunity to hear your story, so please comment to my post with your story.
For those of you who re-committed to set God as a priority, don't let that fade. Send me your story as well.
Next Sunday we wrap up our “Life in Suburbia” series. Please go to www.howkenareyou.com and fill out your survey, and pick up your t–shirt!
