Life in "not" Suburbia

In Suburbia, we have plenty of recreational activities - NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB, movies, concerts...you get the picture. In "not" Suburbia, we have to entertain ourselves with stuff like this:

Sunday Night Rambling

Launching a new series is always fun. Movies ring a bell for most people, so we’re going to catch several over the next few weeks.

Next week we’ll check out Ray. We’ll kick it off with a movie clip, and I’m sure we’ll have some Ray Charles featured music.

Can I just say I have a love/hate relationship with time change Sundays? I guess I just did. I love having longer daylight in the evening. However, it’s hard for people to adjust, and I totally get it. One of my kids asked if they had to get up an hour early. I told him that he went to bed 1 hour late (smile). People set their clocks and show up, but man it’s tough to get rolling. And my foot was in a bucket in the first service today. Couldn’t seem to get it out, but hey, God’s in charge of that. Second service picked up, and I think over 100,000 people came to Christ (smile).

Oh, another thing. On March 20th, a book comes out, Stripped. This book was written by Jud Wilhite, pastor of Central Christian Church in Hendersonville, Nevada. Great story of some incredible God-stuff.

Now, let me go check out the NCAA tournament brackets. March Madness Begins!
