So now, their mind is changed! But to only change our mind, with no action, doesn't lead to life change. There must be a plan and action steps. Whatever the takeaway from the repent side of the circle has to have feet to move and hands to work.
It starts with the plan. For instance, if the moment is cheating, then the plan would be to study more and be content with the outcome. Or if the moment is a moment of selfishness, the plan is to do something for another family member every night until Jesus comes - or a week.
Following the plan, as a parent we must ask our kids about it daily - that's account. Accountability is not to catch them doing something wrong, but to help them enact the plan that they thought was good in the first place.
Of course they must act. That's easy to measure. Once action has taken place, then on to the next moment.
